I'm Feeling Old

My daughter turned 21 yesterday...where did the time go? I've been a mother now for over half my life. And with us living in different parts of the country, I didn't get to spend her birthday with her this year. We were together last year as we were sharing a cabin in the woods. Now she's legal in all 50 states - she plans to go to Alaska (neighboring state) and order herself a drink.

When I look back at where I was in life, 21 years ago...so much has changed, so much has happened. I feel old.
