stupid paint.

as you recall, I had recently refinished a few pieces of furniture. Well, the dresser has turned out pretty lovely, the bed, not so much and the desk looks like crap. How can the same can of navy blue paint look so very different on each piece of furniture??? I am more than disgusted. I am so sick of painting that crap. So now I have to put one more coat on the bed and desk, and possibly a thin coat on the top of the dresser. For blue semi-gloss oil based paint, it looks like its been on there for years and left out in the sun and rain. stupid paint.
