Still Alive, even after the Oscars

No, the killer bacon did not do me in...I threw out the rest of the pizza though. Then there was the Oscars that always go on for hours and for someone like me who makes it a marathon (began watching at 6pm Atlantic Time) it wipes you out.

They were entertaining enough, but certainly not as entertaining as they made out in all the hype over this year's Oscar show, and Chris Rock. I only had a couple of criticisms this year...put the awards BACK on the stage, they looked like they were heading for a speakoff at town hall...and for pete's sake, don't line them up like beauty contestants...that is just tacky.

What the stars did get right though were the outfits...gotta love Robin Williams in his red and black tux. The star that really caught my attention was Kate Winslet...she ROCKED! Beautiful dress, hair, make-up, the works...will post her above.

Now its a whole other year before we see the awards again...sniff...
