Northwest Brook was a lovely sight today...this runs into Big Pond where I was kayaking this afternoon. Getting into the kayak was fairly uneventful...getting out was a different story. With nothing but rocks at the shore, it took some finesse...something I do not possess. Thankfully E. came along and helped steady the kayak so I could barrel roll out without shooting the kayak off across the pond...sheesh...there has to be some sort of technique that I have not yet discovered...
